Kia became a proud supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 2022 through our Accelerate the Good charitable program. As part of our 2022 Years End Sales Campaign, Kia created a commercial that was shot on the St. Jude campus and featured St. Jude patients participating in a virtual "Holiday Joyride" to the North Pole. Kia made a donation for each new Kia car sold or leased during the campaign, which amounted to a total donation of $1.1 million. In 2022, we started our commitment as a $250,000 National Series Sponsor of the St. Jude Walk/Run series, and raised additional funds through peer-to-peer fundraising; donated to St. Jude as part of the 10 millionth Kia vehicle sold in the U.S.; and donated to St. Jude again as part of the groundbreaking announcement for a new EV assembly plant in the state of Georgia. To date, Kia has donated more than $3.3 million to the lifesaving mission of St. Jude.
