Together, nothing is impossible. That's why again this year, my Family and Friends, representing Team PeaceLoveAlanna, signed up to fundraise for the 2025 St. Jude Walk/Run to help to help find cures for childhood cancer.
We walk in memory of and in honor of my beautiful Grand-daughter Alanna Marcotte. Alanna was one of the first patient's to participate in a clinical trial at St. Jude's to treat Osteosarcoma and we learned first hand what a truly AMAZING place St. Jude's is while they were treating her. No family EVER receives a bill for any treatment or ANY of the costs associated with any treatment that may arise. St. Jude's is truly an amazing place opening their doors and helping children from through out the United States and from around the world.
Since it's founding more than 50 years ago, St. Jude Research Hospital has he;ped push the overall survival rate for childhood cancer from 20% when the doors first opened to more than 85% today--but there is still work to be done. That's why I'm walking and fundraising for St. Jude's--to help save more children's lives.
