Why I Support St. Jude

When I think about why I support St. Jude, I’m reminded of family members I’ve lost to cancer—their laughter, their dreams, and until the end, their unwavering hope. I cannot imagine the heartbreak of hearing the words, “Your child has cancer,” and I’m determined to do whatever I can so no parent ever has to face that fear alone.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital leads the way in understanding, treating, and ultimately curing childhood cancer. Because of their groundbreaking work and generous donors, families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food—so they can focus on what truly matters: their child’s well-being. That mission gives me hope, and it drives my goal to raise funds and awareness through the Tampa St. Jude Walk. Every dollar (big or small) helps us get to this goal.
