I hope you can join me, or reach out to learn more.
I started volunteering at St. Jude in 2016 following the passing of my father to Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer in 2015. I was very fortunate to have a support system of friends who reached out and kept my mind off the grief, even when I didn?t ask.
I volunteered at an event in Brooklyn where I met St. Jude staff and volunteers. I happened to bring my entry-level camera with me and snapped one photo of the team that came out well. The following week the team reached out if I could photograph a golf event, and then subsequently a happy hour for their young professionals group.
After a few events, the team figured I might as well join the young professionals committee. I started attending meetings and helping plan the annual gala fundraiser.
Following my upgrade to a more professional camera in 2017, I started volunteering my time at other fundraising galas and events for various nonprofits.
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to visit the hospital a few times in Memphis, and deeply honored to have been recognized by both the hospital and NYC team for my volunteer story with my dad.

I?m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most ? the kids of St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital®. By participating in the St. Jude Walk, I am helping to cure childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Can I count on your donation to help me reach my goal?
Because of generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food ? so they can focus on helping their child live. By donating to my fundraising efforts, you are helping to make that possible.
Thank you for supporting me and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today.
