Our son, Joel, was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in 2005 at the age of 27 months. Thanks to the two clinical trials he participated in and recent research by organizations like St. Jude, he survived. He is now a thriving 21 year old. If he had been diagnosed just 5 years earlier, he would not have survived.
SO: This September, I’m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.
