Why We Support St. Jude

St. Jude Walk/Run - Charlotte, NC

Team Park Patrol

Team Park Patrol is on a roll!  We are fired up to raise awareness and funds as we walk/run in Charlotte, NC on September 28, 2024.

St. Jude’s mission of “finding cures and saving lives” all while supporting families, is one that our family saw first hand and lived out while our son Park was treated for a cancerous brain tumor in Spring of 2022.  St. Jude never sent us a bill for his treatment, travel, housing or food and therefore our main focus was getting Park better and supporting him during his cancer journey.

We have seen how every dollar helps continue this mission and we are honored to now help fundraise and give back to a place that gave us SO much… our son’s life and hope for his future.

That’s why our team has signed up to fundraise for the St. Jude Walk/Run this September as we join the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude.

Can we count on you to make a donation or join our team?

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live. Because of our generous donors, St. Jude can provide children cutting-edge treatments not covered by insurance, at no cost to families.

When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and we won't stop until no child dies from cancer.

Thank you for supporting us and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today.

Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
