Hello everyone!
My name is Ankitha Garga and I am a junior at McNeil High School. This September, I'll be participating in the St. Jude 5K walk to help cure childhood cancer. I'm aiming to raise 2,500 dollars to support the children!
The breakthroughs made at St. Jude's in the fight against childhood cancer are shared with doctors and scientists worldwide. This means that every child saved at St. Jude's allows for thousands more to be saved all over the globe.
Though childhood cancer was originally thought to be incurable, St. Jude has created many treatments over the years that have helped increase the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to 80%.
Every single one of these children deserves the chance to live their life and cherish each moment. Your support means the world to me, and I would be so grateful if you would consider helping me reach my goal!
