Grandma's Marathon and Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon

Minnesota, Duluth
June 22, 2013

Imagine a race where hope marks the finish line. Make it a reality when you join the St. Jude Heroes team for the 37th annual Grandma's Marathon and 23rd annual Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon. This is your opportunity to not only achieve your personal fitness goals, but also help St. Jude achieve the larger goal of finding cures and saving the lives of children battling cancer and other deadly diseases. It's your race. It's their victory!

Both Grandma's Marathon & Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon are point-to-point courses along the beautiful north shore of Lake Superior, ending in Canal Park. They are ideal races for first time participants as the terrain is relatively flat with some gently rolling hills. With over 50,000 spectators and 5,000 volunteers, you will also feel support and encouragement throughout the course. On Saturday, June 22, 2013, 17,000 runners from over 40 different countries will set out to accomplish a personal dream. Join them as a St. Jude Hero and you could also help the a child's dream come true, too.

As a St. Jude Hero, you can earn awesome benefits based upon the fundraising level you choose. Benefits may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • complimentary race entry
  • two-night hotel stay for race weekend
  • event weekend airfare
  • private pasta party for St. Jude Heroes
  • post-race hospitality
  • official St. Jude Heroes team singlet
