Why We Support St. Jude
Mason
We support St. Jude because it became part of our story in a way we never expected.
In August 2014, our family’s world changed when Mason—an incredible son, brother, and loved one was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. From that moment on, we witnessed both the heartbreak of childhood cancer and the strength it demands from a child and their family.
As a St. Jude patient, Mason received care that went beyond medicine. He was treated with compassion, dignity, and a relentless commitment to giving him the best possible chance. St. Jude didn’t just fight his cancer; they supported our entire family through one of the hardest journeys we’ve ever faced.
Although we lost Mason, his impact continues to shape who we are and what we stand for.
We fundraise for St. Jude in his honor. To help give other families hope, support groundbreaking research, and ensure that no family ever has to worry about the cost of their child’s care. Supporting St. Jude means continuing Mason’s legacy and fighting for every child still in the battle.
We honor Mason with a simple but powerful motto: “Let your heart shine.” To us, that means showing up for others, spreading kindness, and choosing hope even in the hardest moments.
Every donation, every effort, and every act of support is a way to let Mason’s light continue to shine and bring us one step closer to a world where no family has to endure this kind of loss.
Can we count on you to make a donation or join our team?
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
In addition to supporting groundbreaking research, your donation or participation also helps ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live. You can help us make a difference.
Thank you for supporting us and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today.
