I’m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. By participating in the St. Jude Walk, I am helping to cure childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Five years ago, my great nephew, Hudson was diagnosed with pediatric neuroblastoma. On the day of diagnosis he was referred to St. Jude, loaded up in an ambulance with his dad beside him, and taken to Memphis. He had surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation. He relapsed a year later and went through it all again. He has now been cancer free for almost three years! Yes, he has some side effects and will have to live with those for the rest of his life.… But he's here! He's in school, playing baseball, being a kid again! Thank you, St. Jude!!!
Can I count on your donation to help me reach my goal?
Walter and Kayla have never received one bill for Hudson's treatment or their travel housing or food! It's all part of St. Jude's plan… So the family can focus on helping their child LIVE!!! This is all possible thanks to generous donors like YOU!
By donating to my fundraising efforts, YOU are helping to make that possible. Thank You!!!!
Robert and I are not going to make it to Oklahoma to walk with the family this year, but I am going to walk with some friends and ESA sisters in the Austin walk on September 26.
Thank you for supporting me and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today.
Thank You and HUGS to all! Lu
