As Miss Washington Volunteer, I have the privilege of showing up for my community in meaningful ways. One of those opportunities was volunteering at the St. Jude Walk in Seattle, cheering on participants as they came together to support children facing cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Being part of that day reminded me that we all have something to give—our time, our encouragement, or a donation that helps make lifesaving care possible. My involvement doesn’t end at the finish line, and I’m continuing to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
