The B-Hive

Our daughter has been a St. Jude patient since 2013. She is a JMML survivor! Though medically complex, she is a thriving junior high student. She is still currently monitored for a possible recurrance and treated for a bleeding disorder. St. Jude has helped her receive life saving blood clotting medication prior to and after every single recent surgery in the past few years (and she has had many).

Over the 13 years our family has traveled to Memphis to the main clinic and to Huntsville to the affiliate clinic for testing, bloodwork, surgery, follow up, and monitoring, our family has never once been billed for anything by St. Jude. St. Jude has helped us with gas money, lodging, and even food while we were on site. In times of most uncertainty, we were able to focus on our little girl and we will forever be grateful. 

We are joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most - the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. By participating in the St. Jude Walk, we are helping to cure childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
