Why We Walk – Team Lovely Grace
Team Lovely Grace was created in honor of two incredible leukemia survivors whose journeys are a testament to hope, courage, and the life-saving impact of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Lavita Lovely was diagnosed with Philadelphia chromosome-positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Ph+ ALL) on February 8, 2018. Through strength, determination, and the support of her medical team, she is now in remission.
Hannah Grace was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on August 8, 2012. After years of treatment and perseverance, she reached an incredible milestone and "Graduated " from St. Jude in September 2022, as she was deemed cured after 10 years.
Every step we take is in celebration of their victories and in honor of every child still fighting cancer. We walk because St. Jude gives families hope, advances life-saving research, and ensures that no family receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food.
Together, we're walking for a future where every child has the chance to survive and thrive. Thank you for supporting Team Lovely Grace and helping St. Jude continue its mission of finding cures and saving children. ❤
