This precious young lady was in my pre-k class a few years ago, and she has held a special place in my heart ever since. Lakyn is now a beautiful third grader, bravely facing cancer for the second time. Even in the hardest moments of treatment, her joy shines so brightly. She is deeply loved by me and by so many others. On Sept. 27th I will be joining Team Lakyn in the St. Jude Walk.
