I?m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most ? the kids of St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital®. By participating in the St. Jude Walk, I am helping to cure childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
A good friend of mine and his wife had a daughter supported by St. Jude during her cancer journey. The care that St. Jude offered not only to their daughter but to them during the tumultuous time in their life they will never forget. While their daughter did lose her battle with cancer after 2 years of fighting over a decade ago, the family still supports St. Jude and so do I.
