Friends and Family! Embarking on a new journey, I’ve decided to try my hand at the marathon distance. I’ve always said “never will I ever”, but as I age, the list challenges I give myself grows. As one of the World Major Marathons, I am asking your assistance as I am entering the race as a charity runner for St. Jude. Their organization is special to me because of what they do for so many children. Many years ago my Grandmother turned me on to their charitable organization so I’m honored to raise money and run on St Jude’s behalf. Thank you all for your support of me and this worthy cause!
Below you’ll fine more info on St Jude and what they do to help children with cancer diagnosis.
The money you donate helps find a cure for childhood cancer.
Did you know:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
- St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
Donate today to help me reach my goal. Even when the race is over, the fight to end childhood cancer continues.
