This is the second year that the Heroes Latinos/St Jude Heroes team will participate in Hood to Coast because our team wants to do more than run. We want to work to support the live-saving mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and we need your support.

We're fundraising while we train for our race so we can make a difference in the lives of kids with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. This year has been difficult in many ways and several team members are dealing with chronic pain and/or injuries but we are giving it our all to make a difference and hope to count with your support!

• Please help us to ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food -- because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
• Because of donors like us, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
• St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
