Our warrior Mariah is a 2x brain cancer survivor. She was first diagnosed with ependymoma in December 2020. She was 8 months old. It was by the grace of God we were lead to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in April of 2021. She went through 7 months of treatment at St. Jude that year. When Mariah relapsed in July of 2023 at age 3, we moved back to Memphis, and she endured another entire year of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. During this time, we were one of the first families to move into St. Jude's brand-new housing facility, The Domino's Village. This housing facility has rooms big enough to accommodate large families and we were blessed to be one of them. This is just one of the countless ways St. Jude takes care of families facing the devastation of a childhood cancer diagnosis. They are always doing their best to ensure our needs are met as easily as possible.
Today, Mariah is 4 years old and has just recently finished treatment. She is happy to be home and resting as she still fights the side effects of full brain and spine radiation. We give God all the glory for where Mariah is now and for leading us to St. Jude, our home away from home. Our hearts are filled with gratitude and hope and because of this we are doing what we can to give back. For the 3rd year in a row, Team Mariah is raising money for St. Jude. Please join us, in any way you can, as we honor Mariah and her journey and continue the fight against childhood cancer.
A donation of any amount will help, please join us in the fight!
Since its founding 60 years ago, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent.
And because St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
Thank you for supporting us and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today. Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
