WOW! We made it. We meet our goal of $1000. Thank you too all of you who have donated.
Now let's push for a stretch goal of $1500. I know it's a lofty goal, but I think we can make it!
This September, I’m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.
While I have been blessed to not have been personally affected by childhood cancer, words cannot describe how passionate I am about supporting St. Jude and their mission to end childhood cancer. Even the smallest donation can make a huge difference. One $10 donation can cover the cost of a platelet count test as part of a child's treatment plan.
Please help me reach my donation goal by contributing any amount that you are able. You could pledge to make your coffee at home instead of stopping at a coffee shop on the way to work, and donate your savings. Take the money you would otherwise spend on a dinner out, and donate here to help provide meals for a St. Jude patient. Donate the money you would spend on movie or a date night, and donate to help cover the cost of housing for a St. Jude patient and their parents.
Some ideas for meaningful donations:
- $9.00 - September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
- $19.62 - St. Jude was founded in 1962 by Danny Thomas
- $25 - St. Jude has 25 officialpartner sites in 17 countries
- $60 - Treatments developed by St. Jude have increased childhood cancer survival rates by 60% (from 20% to 80%)
Can I count on your donation to help me reach my goal?
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live. Because of our generous donors, St. Jude can provide children cutting-edge treatments not covered by insurance, at no cost to families.
When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and we won't stop until no child dies from cancer. Thank you for supporting me and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today.
Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
