Why We Support St. Jude
Team Anna James
When Anna James was diagnosed with leukemia at only 15 months old, we could only pray that we would see her upbeat, funny and tender-hearted personality as a teenager. Well Anna James is now 15 years old and starting her sophomore year of high school. She has been in remission and out of treatment for over 10 years. We continue to go to Memphis annually for her check-up and research study participation, and each year we are astonished at how much more St. Jude is doing every year. It's unlike any other hospital - they not only treat the patient's disease, but they treat/care for both patient and family in so many other ways too. We are so grateful for how much they helped us, and we continue each year to support St. Jude's work through Team Anna James.
Can we count on you to make a donation or join our team?
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live. Because of our generous donors, St. Jude can provide children cutting-edge treatments not covered by insurance, at no cost to families.
When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and we won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Thank you for supporting us and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today.
Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
