On August 4, 2024, as rider # 1187, I will participate in the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge for the first time. This year it will start in Daytona, Florida and finish in Homer, Alaska.

Over the course of 14 days (10,000 + miles) I will be challenged to conquer 62 mountain ranges, 33 Indian Reservations, 25 National Forests, 8 deserts, 6 National Parks and 4 swamps.

The use of GPS or any form of electronic map is not allowed, and riders must sleep outdoors next to their motorcycle during the entire trip. It will certainly be a life experience never lived before.
