Why I'm fundraising for St. Jude
When my daughter was a baby, I taught in the Pre-K class at her school. I had the most precious group of children that year…among them, was a fun and silly blue-eyed boy named Levi. A couple of short years later, he left the earth at the very young age of 7. Several years ago I decided I would begin an annual fall fundraiser for St. Jude in Levi’s memory. I've given away a painting in memory of Levi each year since - to celebrate his life and spirit, to remember along with his family and to support families that find themselves in need of care at St. Jude. I will need your help in spreading the word - you can help by sharing my social media or the link to this page with family and friends and telling them about the painting giveaway/fundraiser!
Thanks to you donors like you, no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
Please join me in remembering Levi this year and raising money for St Jude. Thank you!!!
