Why we're fundraising for St. Jude

Last year, the /r/AskAnAmerican community raised over $1000 for the Anti-Malaria Foundation. This year, our charity drive will be for St. Jude's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Like AMF, St. Jude's is continually listed as one of the most efficient charities worldwide. Meaning that it is a charity that operates with low administrative costs -- more of each dollar you donate goes to persons in need!
