FUNDS RAISED FOR St. Jude
Purdue Tri Delta
As Tri Delta women, we are passionate about serving others and committed to making a global impact on the fight against childhood cancer. Through our partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, we fulfill our purpose to be unselfish leaders. We help children live, scientists learn and St. Jude lead in its mission of finding cures for childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Since 1999, Tri Delta has raised over $62 million to support the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude. In 2014, we committed to raise $60 million in 10 years, the largest single commitment by a St. Jude partner. Because of this tremendous pledge, we have received prominent recognition on the St. Jude campus with the naming of the short-term housing facility, Tri Delta Place.
Please join us as we help to make a difference in the lives of St. Jude patients and their families.
Why support St. Jude?
- As Tri Delta women, we believe in assisting others in every possible way. The money we raise ensures that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- In an effort to boldly lead the way and spread our influence abroad, our support allows St. Jude to freely share the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
- And just as Tri Delta remains innovative in the way we support women to live, learn and lead -- with Purpose, for a lifetime, St. Jude continues to be a forefront leader in the research and treatment for childhood cancer. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
