In November of 1980 I was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma. The only doctors that gave us hope were the doctors at St. Jude. After several months of treatments, in April of 1982 I was pronounced cancer free! Help me to give back to the hospital that gave me life. My goal for the walk / run this year is $15,000 and combined with the upcoming St. Jude Marathon - I hope to raise a total over $20,000 for St. Jude in 2022.
Making memories. Supporting a mission. That’s why I’ve signed up to fundraise for the St. Jude Walk/Run. This September, I’m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Can I count on your donation to help me reach my goal?
Since its founding 60 years ago, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent.
And because St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
Thank you for supporting me and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today. Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
