Team Brandyn

Brandyn was just a couple weeks shy of 2 when he was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma (NB). We walk in memory of him, his infectious giggle, smile, love for big trucks, hugs, and the color red! He fought NB for 9 months and passed away at St Jude on Sept 14th, 1999.

 St. Jude has helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent. At the time of Brandyn's diagnosis, the survival rate of high risk NB was 40%, it is now 50%. So much more research needs to be done! 

And because St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
