Hi friends!!! It's that time of year again....
You can donate to your page (ty!), you can join our team to help us fundraise within your friends/family/community, or you can start your own team to help St. Jude!
Why support St. Jude? I worked for St. Jude right after college and have seen its impact first hand. The hospital is filled with joy, laughter, and hope in what is an unimaginably difficult experience. My top reasons to support the hospital are conveniently outlined below :)
- St. Jude has increased the survival rates for the most common form of childhood cancer* from 4% before opening in 1962 to 94% today (*Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia - and WOWZA)
- They share all of their research openly, driving rapid innovation in care and cures
- As of day 1 in 1962, the hospital has always accepted children of all races and religions
- Families never pay a dime. The treatment, the hospitality, and even travel is paid for by the hospital (and donors like us!)
We realize there are a lot of charities worthy of your time and donations. Today, we choose to wave a happy flag at this one :)
