Team Brian Quinlan

Dear Family and Friends,

We are excited to be supporting the St. Jude Walk/Run again this year. As most of you know, Brian was diagnosed with a blood cancer when he was only 4. This year marks Brian's 20th Anniversary since arriving at St. Jude. It was the scariest day ever for me and Brian's father, Patrick, who is holding Brian's hand in the photograph above. The best news is Patrick is holding Brian's hand as they are walking into an appointment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. This picture was taken AFTER Brian’s initial hospitalization.  He was in remission.  We had three years of cutting-edge chemotherapy to go before Dr. Pui decided we had a good chance the cancer wouldn't come back.

Dr. Pui was right. After 3 years of chemo, the cancer was gone. Brian is 24 years old now and is an ocean rescue lifeguard. We are so grateful.
