The Washington DC Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is proud to participate in the St. Jude Walk to End Childhood Cancer. As a community committed to service, sisterhood, and social action, we stand united in the fight against childhood cancer. This year, we are joining thousands across the nation to walk and raise funds for the children and families served by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Why We Walk

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a beacon of hope for children facing life-threatening diseases. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food—because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. The research conducted at St. Jude not only saves lives but also ensures that children around the world have access to cutting-edge treatments. By walking, we contribute to the continuation of this vital work and help ensure that no child faces cancer alone.

We invite all Sorors, friends, and family members to join our team and walk with purpose. Whether you’re walking in person or virtually, your participation matters. If you’re unable to walk, you can still support by donating and helping us reach our fundraising goal. Together, we can demonstrate the power of our community by not only showing up but also by raising funds that will directly impact the lives of children and their families.
