Christal’s Crew is Making memories and Supporting a mission! Christal was a partient at St Jude from 2002-2006. She fought a tremendous battle with brain cancer and St. Jude was there every step of the way! Our family was never asked to pay for a dime. Not for any of her many treatments or surgeries. They also paid for us to live in Memphis during treatments and gave us money for food and travel. This was an incredible blessing, and made it easy to only focus on Christal while she was there. Christal lost her battle in 2006 and is in Heaven with her Lord and Savior now. That’s why our team has signed up to fundraise for the St. Jude Walk/Run this September as we join the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude.

Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live. Because of our generous donors, St. Jude can provide children cutting-edge treatments not covered by insurance, at no cost to families. 

When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and we won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
