Why We Support St. Jude

St. Jude Walk/Run - Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX

Hannah Strong

When Hannah was diagnosed with an inoperable brain stem tumor (ganglioglioma), our family was faced with the unimaginable. We have since been beyond blessed by family, friends, and medical teams who have lifted Hannah up in prayer and cheered her on as she’s made it through some really hard challenges- multiple brain surgeries, chemotherapy, and proton radiation. This past spring, Hannah was accepted as a patient at St. Jude and her experience was nothing short of amazing. Every encounter was compassionate and positive…from registration to her medical team to the cafeteria workers…each employee at St. Jude goes above and beyond to give their kids the best care. It’s the best place you don’t want to have to be at. St. Jude is everything they stand for and promise to be.

That’s why our team has signed up to fundraise for the St. Jude Walk/Run. This September, we’re joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — Hannah and her friends at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Can we count on your donation to support our team? Better yet…would you like to join our team and walk with us?

Since its founding 60 years ago, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent. And because St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.

Thank you for supporting us and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today. Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
