St Jude saved our daughters life many times throughout 2022 and 2023. Sophie was diagnosed with an aggressive bone cancer called Ewing Sarcoma at C6 in her spinal chord. She was having painful symptoms that started in her neck and back and started to shoot down into her arms. By the time we made it to St Jude she wasn't able to move her arms. Sophie has had so many spinal surgeries, a full halo brace with 6 rods screwed into her skull and 14 treatments of chemo. St Jude was able to save our baby and hold us up through it all. We've had many endless days during our 14 months while at St Jude, but they never let us lose our hope and fought by our side every day. It's hard to explain a group of amazing people willing to come to work every day and fight through such a nasty cancer day in and day out and keep the hope and faith alive. We lived in Target House while we were at St Jude and through many of the dark days Sophie was still able to do arts and crafts that Target House staff would do with the kids that kept her kid spirits alive. We will be forever grateful to St Jude and Target House and the amazing people that kept us from drowning. 

Please help me in raising awareness for Sophie's cancer Ewing Sarcoma in the hopes one day we will have a cure for this disease. We need more research, funding and pharmaceutical companies that want in to research super rare pediatric cancers like Ewing Sarcoma. Please also help me raise funds for our saving grace, St Jude, and for the next Pediatric cancer family that will walk through St Jude's door with Ewing Sarcoma and will follow a very difficult path.
