Why We Support St. Jude

A year ago I  made a commitment to become a healthier version of myself. So, I decided to set my sights on something that seemed impossible- run a marathon. That’s why we signed up to fundraise for the St. Jude Walk/Run. 

I discovered the incredible work done by St. Jude's Research Hospital, specifically for children in our Latino community and those in countries with limited resources. 

When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent.

They believe a child should live as typical a childhood as possible, even when battling life-threatening diseases.
