Girlfriends & Families

Dear Friends:

Let's make memories together by supporting St Jude's mission.   I’ve signed up, once again, to support the Kids through the St. Jude Walk/Run Fundraiser.  I’m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Since its founding 60 years ago, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent.  Because St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.

Fun-raising will be at a minimum this year for Girlfriends & Families Team.   However, it is a TEAM and several keep asking about activities and walking for the KIDS.  Therefore, I did decide to register Girlfriends & Families again this year so we can make an effort to help the St Jude Kids!  Several have mentioned one fundraiser and walking, so let's see if we can get a small group together to make this happen.  

This is a very busy year for me, but I cannot forget the sweet kiddos at St Jude.  They are my top favorite charity to support.  So much, that my husband and I are leaving a legacy to them.  Thank you for supporting me/Girlfriends & Families Team for over the past 9 years.   Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
