Every year, there are 400,000 children diagnosed with cancer around the world. Pediatric cancer is the number one cause of death by disease in children. For the children that do survive, the treatments are barbaric and have often been around for decades. Childhood cancer also receives just 4% of the annual budget from the National Institute of Health.
Although it has been nearly impossible to move forward without our Vivian, we find ways to honor her and one of them is through St. Jude. St. Jude is working tirelessly to find better treatments and cures, and they create more clinical trials for cancer than any other children’s hospital. They also have a global impact, helping families from all over the world.
Please join us on our walk to help honor our girl, and to fight for the children that are still battling this vicious disease. Together we can help end childhood cancer.
