Why we support St. Jude

St. Jude Walk/Run - Bloomington-Normal, IL

Old FIJI's Running for the Kids of St. Jude

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page for the St. Jude Walk/Run! We ran in this event last year to prove that a couple of old Phi Gams could hit the pavement and save kids in the process. We had so much fun that we decided to do it again this year and help raise more money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!

We are committed to fundraise for the kids of St. Jude because they are leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancers and other life-threatening diseases. Since opening their doors more than 50 years ago, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate for childhood cancer from 20 percent when their doors first opened to more than 80 percent today — but there is more work to be done.

That’s where you come in. Donations from fundraising events like the St. Jude Walk/Run support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and families will never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies from cancer—so neither will we. Will you join us by making a donation today? Help us old FIJI's make a difference in a family's future! Just click on the donate button by one of our names (or just make a general donation to the team) and help inspire us as we run for the Kids!

Your support makes a powerful, lifesaving impact. Let’s inspire kindness and find hope because together, nothing is impossible.

Thank you for your consideration. James Ingold and Brian Lockenvitz
