Guardians Against Cancer

The St. Jude Walk/Run is back to an in-person event this year, and Guardians Against Cancer is back, too. As one of the top fundraising teams in Oklahoma these past five years, our goal is to continue to support the Children’s Research Hospital that has helped our very own. Two kids at St. Mary in Tulsa have benefited directly from cancer treatment through St. Jude in Memphis and their affiliate clinic in Tulsa. With fundraising and participation at the Walk/Run on September 24th, we hope to be one of the biggest teams again—and one of the best fundraising teams, too.

Since its founding 60 years ago, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent. 

And because St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
