Eight years ago, I started a team in honor of what would have been my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, my mom passed away from cancer a month and a half before they could celebrate that milestone. Since my parents were monthly supporters of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, I wanted to continue their support and recognize their anniversary at the same time. Your participation and/or donation would mean so much to me and the children and families at St. Jude’s.

Making memories. Supporting a mission. That’s why I’ve signed up to fundraise for the St. Jude Walk/Run. This September, I’m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Can I count on your donation to help me reach my goal? 

Since its founding 60 years ago, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent. 

And because St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
