Joining a fundraising team for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is not just about raising money, it's about making a difference in the lives of children battling terminal cancer. As part of a family who have been Partners in Hope for over 30 years, I have seen firsthand the impact that St. Jude can have on families in need. As a student nurse in Evansville, I have the privilege to recruit a team of passionate future healthcare workers who can make a difference in the lives of these children. Together, as "Student Nurses of Evansville," we can raise funds to help provide lifesaving treatments, support, and hope to children and their families who need it most. When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent.

And because St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
