I’m Bridget and St. Jude saved my life.  I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, bone cancer, in 2018 when I was 6. I underwent 10 weeks of chemotherapy, amputation of my right leg and another 30 weeks of treatment.  My parents never received a bill and they still don’t.

I will walk on Saturday, September 24th in gratitude for what St. Jude did for me, but more so for my friends that are still at St. Jude fighting or my friends that won their battle and are in heaven now.

Since its founding 60 years ago, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent. 

And because St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
