I am proud to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness.

As a school counselor and dedicated volunteer in pediatric care, I have seen the profound difference compassionate medical support can make. My father's experience with cancer highlighted the essential role that empathetic care and a supportive environment play in recovery. 

This year, I am particularly inspired to back a special initiative led by Sebastian, a special student of mine. At just the age of six, he had been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain tumor called medulloblastoma. Thanks to the exceptional care at St. Jude, Sebastian and his family have found hope and resilience during this difficult journey. Now, Sebastian is leading a fundraising effort to give back to the institution that has made such a significant impact on his life.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is committed to ensuring that no family bears the financial burden of treatment, travel, housing, or food. This approach allows families to concentrate fully on their child’s recovery.
