Hey everyone,
I’m Adell, and I want to share a piece of my heart with you. When I was 15, my world turned upside down. I was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer. The tumor in my right fibula damaged my nerve, and I ended up with drop foot. It was a tough journey, but I fought through it.
Now, I’m a survivor. Running has become my outlet, helping me rebuild my muscles and find strength again. It’s my way of pushing past the challenges and embracing life.
I don’t want anyone else to go through this alone. That’s why I’m raising funds to support others affected by Ewing's Sarcoma. Your donations will go towards research, support programs, and resources for patients and their families.
Every step I take is filled with hope and determination. I want to use my survival story to inspire others and make a real difference. With your help, we can ensure that no one has to face this battle by themselves.
This September, I’m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.
Can I count on your donation to help me reach my goal?
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live. Because of our generous donors, St. Jude can provide children cutting-edge treatments not covered by insurance, at no cost to families.
When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and we won't stop until no child dies from cancer. Thank you for supporting me and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today.
Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
