This September, I’m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! As a Social Work Student with the mission to work in pediatric oncology, Having the chance to raise funds and awareness towards this mission is such a honor.
This organization means so much to me and to the thousands of families it has been about to help. Not a single family is charged for medical bills, food, or even lodging when being treated at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I ask that if you are able to help donate or share the fundraiser, we can help to the greater good of our community! I was honored to visit the St. Jude Campus this summer and it is truly inspiring the work they do, not just for the US, but all over the world. I hope I can count on your support!
Can I count on your donation to help me reach my goal?
When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and we won't stop until no child dies from cancer. Thank you for supporting me and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today.
Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
