Twenty-one years ago, my mom was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She was not a St. Jude patient, but is alive today because of the research pioneered by and shared by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She frequently says that she now works for ALSAC so one day I don't even know the words “childhood cancer.”
This year, I am celebrating Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by participating in and fundraising for the St. Jude Walk Kansas City. Can I count on your donation to help me reach my goal?
In November, my mom will celerbate 19 years cancer free, so help me raise $1,900 for the lifesaving mission of St. Jude: Finding cures. Saving children.
Thank you for supporting me and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today.
