This September, I’m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
My name is Sarah Powers and I am a senior at Sacred Heart Academy on Long Island, NY. This upcoming year, I will be attending Fairfield University and plan on majoring in Psychology. I am a part of St. Jude’s Leadership Program, where we help raise money for those children suffering tremendously, so I will be running with the St. Jude’s Leadership Team in order to create change. No child should have to put their life on hold to undergo the pain of chemotherapy and radiation. With your help, we can help those families who can’t afford this expensive treatment. Thank you all for your continuous support.
Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
