What's up everyone!
As a new employee of ALSAC I've been absolutely blown away by the vision, mission and impact of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and we won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
What's happening here is amazing, but how it happens is just as amazing!!!
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live because of the contributions of people like you and me.
Therefore, I've made it a goal of mine to not just be an employee, but to fully embrace the vision, the mission and the cause. And guess what? My awesome family has decided to join me! We have decided to participate in this year's St Jude Walk/Run with a goal of raising $2,000.00.
