We became part of the St. Jude family in July of 2021 when our son was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. He was two years old at the time and our world was completely turned upside down. In a span of three days we thought Hudson was battling molars coming in and maybe an ear infection. As soon as the pediatrician ran his labs she knew something was wrong and sent us to a local St. Jude affiliate hospital. Two days later we were on our way to Memphis, TN and little did we know we would end up living there for almost two years.
Through his initial treatment and a relapse in the brain Huddy fought with all his might and St. Jude supported, took care of and did almost everything for us. It’s true what they say…we didn’t pay a dime for his care. They gave us an apartment to live in and money for food. The list goes on and on for how well we were taken care of.
It brings me so much happiness to say that Hudson has been cancer free for two years as of May 2025! God is good and we will forever be grateful that our path led us to St. Jude. Please join us in donating and raising awareness of this amazing research hospital!
