Why I Support St. Jude
Making memories. Supporting a mission. The Marcum Foundation has gotten squarely behind the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in their effort to find cures for childhood cancer. I am extremely proud of the Firm and my colleagues for taking this on and that why I’ve signed up to fundraise for the Boston St. Jude Walk/Run in September. You all know me well enough to know much my kids and grandkids mean to me. Kids make the world go around and if my efforts can help even one child, then it is well worth the time and effort. .

When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent.
And because St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
