Steve and I are celebrating Mateo’s 6 month half-birthdays and our 5 year anniversary by participating in the St. Jude Walk/Run to help cure childhood cancer :) We hope to raise $2500 to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!  

I worked for St. Jude right after college and have seen it's impact first hand. The hospital is filled with joy, laughter, and hope in what is an unimaginably difficult experience. If you'd like to join us in our anniversary fundraiser, you can Donate to Team TobCob Here! 

A  few reasons they're amazing :) - 

• St. Jude has increased the survival rates for the most common form of childhood leukemia from 4% before opening in 1962 to 94% today . 
• They share all of their research openly, looking to drive innovation in care and fasture cures.
• As of day 1 in 1962, the hospital has always accepted children of all races and religions
• Families never pay a dime. The treatment, the hospitality, and even travel is paid for by the hospital

We realize there are a lot of charities worthy of your time and donations. Today, because of how grateful we are to have a happy, healthy baby boy, we choose to wave a merry flag about this one :)
