Why I Support St. Jude
Making memories. Supporting a mission. That’s why I’ve signed up to fundraise for the St. Jude Walk/Run. This September, I’m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I have lived a similar challenge with my Son spending far too much time at Phoenix Children's Hospital and now Mayo Clinic. He deals with a different chronic illness but I understand what these families go through. As a family, we could feel the great things that donors had done for patients and families at PCH. Please join me in my quest to raise funds for the Children and Families whom must visit St. Jude Hospitals. I have hiked over 20 Kilometers this week in the hills and mountains of Prescott and Sedona. I will finish the 25th Kilometer tomorrow September 30th. If you can spare a few dollars; it all adds up to help. Thank You.
Can I count on your donation to help me reach my goal?
When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent.
And because St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
Thank you for supporting me and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today. Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
